In the book of Genesis the Lord came down to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because of their wickedness. I’m amazed to see how Abraham pled and negotiated with God Almighty at the risk of the Lord being angry with him for the salvation of strangers. Yes, Lot was there, but I believe Abraham wanted the cities to be spared. Our communities are worse than Sodom and Gomorrah and how many of us ever shed a tear or pleaded with the Lord for their salvation. Billy Graham said, “tears shed for self are tears of weakness, but tears shed for others are a sign of strength.”
Nice name! I know what you mean the old me was a real hell raiser. But I know the Lord has plans for you Steve Sheridan. Where do you live at?

I live in the SF Bay Area. You wouldn’t happen to know any of HIs plans for me, would you? It seems from your posts that you hear the Spirit. I’ve been praying for an annointing. I would love to be able to heal, teach, speak in tongues, and/or prophecy. I think of all the things I’d do for the kingdom. It reminds me of a song I love by Steven Curtis Chapman called “Whatever”. Do you know it?
Brother, I have seen the Lord in the life of this unworthy vessel. He seems to have a desire for me to tell people about Him. I have been constantly astounded these 30 years that our Dear Lord would desire to use me in anyway to share His love and His Word and His Gospel with those in darkness. I have had the extreme privilege of leading people to faith in Christ one by one or in the congregations or on their deathbed. Things that come out of my mouth when I am doing his work astound me because I know it doesn’t come from my puny brain. The results that I have seen through prayer when I have gone to the sick went to the hospital’s amaze me. Many years ago I had a dream. And in the dream I saw the Lord Jesus walking at a brisk pace down an open road with his long flowing robes. Then I suddenly realized that there was a little teeny tiny Steve clinging to the Hem of his garment down by His feet. I said, “Oh Lord Jesus I am just a speck of dust on Your robe!” And He said “Yes but even dust when it touches My robe becomes holy.” You are in Christ Jesus Steve! You have more anointing than you realize! Allow the Lord to use you. Surrender your hands surrender your feet let his eyes be your eyes and his ears are your ears. Ask Him for His heart and His mind

You know I am so amazed because within the last four days I also googled our name. Many of my sermons are on the YouTube channel themttomb channel. I have never put my name along side of those sermons. So I was on google just to see if I could find those sermonby googling my name. So it seems to me you and I were both googling our names around the same time and Father wanted us to cross each other’s path. I encourage you Steve, continue to seek for more of God’s presence. Seek His Face and the closer you get in His Presence the more the anointing will flow in your life. I always tell people I want to be like a teabag and the Lord is the water put me in the Lords cup and let me soak up that water. I just want to be saturated with the Holy Spirit! Because people need the Lord I don’t have in and of myself what they need only God can help them. But if I allow him to fill me completely up by dying to myself every day and allowing him to fill me daily with a fresh anointing I know He will touch people through the use of this vessel for His glory!
