Safe and Secure

By |August 12th, 2015|Uncategorized|

Colossians 3:2 “Set your minds on the things of heaven not on the things of earth.” Often times my 10 month old granddaughter when I pick her up just lays her precious little head on my chest and has such a look of contentment and peace. We need to lay our heads on our Father’s chest in total surrender and see things from His perspective. In His arms we are completely safe and secure. From that position, all your troubles, all sickness and disease, financial problems, and all marital problems seem very small in His loving arms. Rest in Him, All is well!

Trust

I was picking up some food at Lansky’s last night. While I was waiting, I felt the Holy Spirit gave me a message:Trust
T turn everything over to God

R rest in Him

U understand calvary’s purpose

S surrender wholeheartedly

T take the Lord and His Word

Humility

James 4:10 “Humble yourself in the side of the Lord, and He will lift you up!” 1 Peter 5:6 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time.”

D.L. Moody said,

“God sends no one away empty except those who are full of themselves.”

God’s presence

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. The Presence of the Lord in your yielded life will cause your enemies, natural and supernatural to flee!

Time in School

Matthew 6:6 “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, Who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”Our quiet time with God is extremely important. Each person of God has a period where they are spending alone time in the school of God. Moses was 40 years in the desert before the Lord sent him back to Egypt. Elijah spend time being fed by the Raven and cared for by the window before launching his supernatural ministry. The Son of God himself spent 30 years in private for three years in public ministry. There is no substitution for that alone time with God. The Master Himself was constantly going off alone to spend time with Father. We all need it.

Romans 5:17 “For if by one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ. Joseph prints said beautifully, “When you reign in life your addictions don’t. When you reign in life your bad habits don’t. When you reign in life diseases don’t. When you reign in life the devil doesn’t.”

The Bible tells us that He who began a good work in us will be faithful to complete it. You can’t rush a good roast. And you don’t microwave a steak. The Lord is a Master at giving us the grace and the strength and the anointing we need to become those vessels that bring a smile to His precious lips.

Many times people think too highly of men then they ought too. There are no great man of God, never has been, never will be. There has only been pitiful, weak, sinful, unbelieving men of a great and merciful God. What are men but corrupt creatures that have been saved by grace, regenerated by the Holy Spirit and kept sustained in the grace by the power of the Holy Spirit. To God be all the glory! Let no man glory in himself!

Fear not

By |July 29th, 2015|Uncategorized|

In the midst of this turmoil, sinfulness, and debauchery, let us Praise the Lord from whom all good things come! I will bless the Lord at all times! His praise shall continually be in my mouth! God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind!

God’s supply

By |July 28th, 2015|Uncategorized|

Is God your first priority or your last option? When God is your first priority, His abundant resources are available to you and there is never a last option! Phil 4:13 “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
