Don’t give up

By |February 3rd, 2016|Uncategorized|

Sometimes if you watch the news or a sitcom television program, you find out how sinful our country has become. Jesus said we are to go and make disciples of all nations. The task seems almost insurmountable. But a 10000 mile journey begins with one step. you’ll never make it if you don’t begin taking one step at a time, one soul at a time. Success comes in cans not cannots. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”

Prayer

By |February 1st, 2016|Uncategorized|

Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

Prayer always precedes Revival. I am praying for a Spirit of Prayer to fall on you! Move on us O Lord! Show us what to pray! Show us how to pray! Be glorified by the use of these unworthy vessels! Revive us Lord!
“Nothing tends more to cement the hearts of Christians than praying together. Never do they love one another so well as when they witness the outpouring of each other’s hearts in prayer.”

― Charles Grandison Finney

“The ugly fact is that altar fires are either out or burning very low. The prayer meeting is dead or dying. By our attitude to prayer we tell God that what was begun in the Spirit we can finish in the flesh. What church ever asks its candidating ministers what time they spend in prayer? Yet ministers who do not spend two hours a day in prayer are not worth a dime a dozen, degrees or no degrees.” Leonard Ravenhill

Psalms 1

By |January 29th, 2016|Uncategorized|

Psalms 1:1-3 Blessed is the manWho walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,

Nor stands in the path of sinners,

    Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,

And in His law he meditates day and night.

3 He shall be like a tree

Planted by the rivers of water,

That brings forth its fruit in its season,

    Whose leaf also shall not wither;

And whatever he does shall prosper.
I have a constant prayer, “Lord, give me a heart like the Psalmists!” The simple wisdom found in the Psalms is fascinating.

The man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked is happy because he focuses on what God has to say and not the world view of life. Be planted by the rivers of Living Water friend and you can’t help but to […]

A Holy Urgency

By |January 28th, 2016|Uncategorized|

Do you have a holy urgency? Each person is one heart beat away from eternity. With this in mind, are you ready? What is your urgency to make sure that your loved ones, friends, neighbors, or strangers are prepared for to stand before Christ?
Romans 13:11 Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed.

Luke 13:3 “I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
John 8:24″Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe(trust in, rely on, adhere to) that I am He, you will die in your sins.”
Could a mariner sit idle if he heard the drowning cry? Could a doctor sit in comfort and just let his patients die? Could a fireman sit idle, let men […]

Revival Quotes

By |January 27th, 2016|Uncategorized|

When the church finds its members falling into gross and scandalous sin, then it’s time for the church to awake and cry to God for revival of religion. Charles Finney
And from another great revivalist: Every church without a prayer meeting condemns us; every Bible daily unopened condemns us; every promise of God unused condemns us; every unreached neighbor condemns us; every dry eye among us condemns us; every wasted minute of our time condemns us; every unclaimed opportunity for God condemns us. Next year is not ours. Tomorrow may be too late. Unless repent now, unless we return and fire the prayer alters now, unless we fast and weep now, woe onto us at the judgment!

Leonard Ravenhill

Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One That inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, With him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
“Revival begins in the individual’s heart. Let it begin with you on your face alone before God. Turn from every sin that might hinder. Renew yourself to a new devotion to the Savior.”

– Lee Roberson
Revival has everything to do with you. It’s waiting on you and me!

Revival

By |January 25th, 2016|Uncategorized|

My grandson said to me,”Grandpa you post a lot.” It’s funny because I was against the concept of Face Book for a long time. But my heart is so consumed with Revival, that I see the vehicle Face Book can be for me to share God’s Word and love for us all. I have heard from people as far as South Korea and Nigeria, Africa! I am amazed! People we need a true Holy Spirit REVIVAL! Billy Sunday said, “When is a revival needed? When carelessness and unconcern keep the people asleep.” IF you are hungry for revival invite the Lord to revive your heart and allow Him to make any changes He desires for your good and His GLORY!

Count it all joy

By |January 23rd, 2016|Uncategorized|

James 1 tells us “consider it all joy when you go through various trials knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. But endurance must have it’s complete work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.” When we go through difficult times we’re being tried in the fire like silver or gold being purified. The heat turns up, the imperfections of the metal rises to the top and are cleaned off. The hotter the fire the purer the metal. When the metals shines and gives off of reflection. Then the Lord can begin to see His reflection in you. Have Your Own Way, Lord! Make us more like Jesus!

God’s Grace

By |January 22nd, 2016|Uncategorized|

Titus 2:11–12 “For the Grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.” How does one keep oneself unstained from this world? The Grace of God teaches us how to live this way. Yield to God’s Amazing Grace!
